My dad is geologist. While other people have cabinets of delicate trinkets, we had cabinets of rocks.
Anyway, this family came over for dinner one night, and I decided to throw the fake rock at their son (who is around my age) because I thought it would be hilarious. Thank goodness he had a sense of humor, otherwise we might not have become the good friends that we are today.
Que romantic music!
Everyone say, "awwww"
Not only did I get stand by her side on the big day, but I ALSO got to make them both an AMAZING cake to celebrate!
The succulents and flowers were custom made to match the wedding colors and other florals. They took almost 2 weeks to construct, color and assemble. I used Crystal Colors petal dust to get those great green and purple shades.
The inside of the cake consisted of carrot cake with white chocolate buttercream (the grooms favorite) and red velvet with salted caramel buttercream.
Including a T-Rex, because nothing says love like a giant inflatable dinosaur.
